We took both sides of the family to Lone Star Park for Amy's birthday today. For those who don't know, it is a relatively new horse racing track in Grand Prairie, and it is extremely nice! None of us put any money down, but it was fun watching them run and enjoying a nice picnic.

Fort Worth Zoo
We spent today with the Pecks visiting Joe T Garcia's and the Fort Worth Zoo. I must say, having lived in the D/FW area for so long and never having visited the Fort Worth Zoo, I was surprised at how nice the zoo is, and recommend it to anyone who has not been there.
