Early Wednesday morning, some friends of ours welcomed in a new addition to their family. Amy got up at 12:30am to go see the new addition, and we went back the next evening and took a few photos. Weighing in at approximately 80 lbs. and measuring, oh, maybe 48 inches long (at a guess)...
...please welcome Indio! These photos are of the little guy when he was less than 24 hours old. I think most parents are glad their children don't walk that quickly. Then again, most mothers would not want to endure an 11 month pregnancy!
Amy and I will be dropping by a number of times to care for both mother and child this weekend while our friends (the owners) are out of town. Look for a few more pictures soon!

What great shots. I am getting excited about horses as I hear about this little one from you and think about your getting one of your own. Hope Indio is still doing well.
