Wheaton Reunion

The trip to Nashville was a two-for-one success - what are the chances that my two good friends from college would end up living in the same town AND have new babies within 1 month of each other?! Betsy, my bosom buddy and travelling pal, and I met in Nashville to spend time with Darragh and Michelle, both former Wheaties and sisters-in-Christ.

We visited the Cheekwood Plantation and Botanical Gardens for a day, spent some time in Franklin swimming with Michelle and her 3 year-old daughter, Ansley, ate great, home-made food, watched "Sister Wendy Beckett's World of Painting" in preparation for our trip to Italy, and caught up after the 8 years since graduation. Life for both of them with kids has changed dramatically - but the change reveals their committment to raising their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Praise God for healthy, happy babies and for true, lasting friendships.

Not as many picutres as I'd planned, but enough to give a taste ...
